Frøystad Lobster Gauge  90/115 mm From 1 October 2026 , lobsters must be measured by the length of the carapace. “The carapace length is measured from the rear edge of the eye socket to the rear edge of the carapace, along the centre line.”* With the Frøystad key for sustainable lobster fishing , you can easily check both the minimum and maximum size.
